Hey folks, we’re grinding the Power Master X-axis slide. It was out by about 4.5 to 5 thousandths due to a bad crash, causing uneven contact. You can see where it’s touching and where it’s not on the flats and V-ways. The finish looks good, but we’ll grind it true, check it on a granite plate, and ensure it passes inspection. Next, we’ll flip it to grind the V-ways, which are also off. More updates soon! Thanks! |
