If you need service, or maintenance on any NAKAMURA TOME WT-300 REBUILD – Contact Us today.
Hi, everyone. Here’s an update on your machine. We’ve made significant progress on the X-axis slide, with the ball screws installed and aligned, and most components completed except for those attached to the bedway. We’re still waiting on the bedway, but I haven’t received a clear timeline from the supplier. Last week, on Tuesday or Wednesday, they asked me not to call until they’re ready. I’ll follow up tomorrow, Wednesday, to avoid being too pushy, but I’ll keep you posted. This week, we’re focusing on rebuilding the turrets since we received the necessary parts. One turret is already in progress, and we have another ready to start. You can see some of the turret components here, and we’ll ensure they’re fully rebuilt. The spindle for the machine has also arrived and is on-site. The new ball screws for the bed are here, and we’ve set aside the old ones, which we didn’t rebuild due to warranty issues—they’re stored under a box nearby. We’re slightly delayed because of the bedway issue, and I can’t visit the supplier in person right now since our plane is undergoing its annual maintenance. I’m planning to send someone next week to check on the bedway progress and get a clear picture of what’s happening. In addition to the turrets, we’re working on some cylinders and other components to ensure everything is repaired correctly. The heat has limited our team to seven-hour workdays, but we’re moving forward. I’ll provide another update by Thursday or Friday to show our progress. We have a meeting scheduled tomorrow to review everything, but feel free to call me with any questions in the meantime. |
