Hi, I’m Kevin with Precision Service, updating you on the Nakamura-Tome WT-300 bed. We pressure washed it last night, and it’s much cleaner now. You can see significant wear on the lower X-axis ways—they’re heavily damaged. There’s also some wear on the other side of the bedway, likely the master or gib. We can’t grind this in-house due to the angle, so we’re sending it to a company in Cleveland, Ohio. They’ll grind all the slides and, unusually, the base too. I marked all the areas to be ground, including the way cover sections, to ensure everything is trued up. We’re rushing a bit because the truck arrived early, and we need to load it to stay on schedule. I’ll share a quick walkaround video to show how clean the bed is now. |
